Rachel Pomeroy

Rachel has over fifteen years’ experience in the care sector. She initially started working in care accidentally applying for a Support Worker role but very soon knew that she had found my career and vocation.

Rachel has worked in many different roles as a Support Worker, Project Manager, Service Manager, Registered Manager, Head of the National Development team, Head of Quality, Regional Manager and Regional Quality Compliance Manager. She has equally acted as a mentor for managers and staff, carrying out peripatetic roles to support services needing to improve and moving services from breaches and embargos.

Rachel has been involved in acquisitions and due diligence, developing new services, supporting organisations to grow, budgeting and quality related work to name a few parts of her fifteen years career to date.

Rachel’s focus is to ensure the person receiving the service is at the forefront, that the provider is delivering a ‘good’ service aiming for outstanding and is compliant with CQC the regulator. ​​​​​​​
